The latest infinix phone in Nigeria and latest device from Infinix mobility: Infinx Hot 2 with the hash tag HottestONE was successfully lunched in Nigeria after much anticipation on Tuesday 18th Aug 2015 and so far, the air is clear and nothing bad, has been said about the phone. Except that it didn’t come with free MB for imei tweakers. Instead MTN is allocating a cheap 1gb worth of data to it at N500 only for 12 months.


The device Infinix Hot 2 x510, just like Infinix Hot Note Pro for Infinix Hot Note, and Infinix Zero 2 kevlar for Infinix zero, is an upgrade version for Infinix Hot x507 with 1gb ram.


It is built in Android One standard and runs on Android version 5.1 Lollipop upgradable to Android M. Comes in two variant: 1gb and 2gb, blessed with a large 5 inch HD Screen for movies and game lovers, 1.3Ghz Quad-Core processor, 8MP back camera and as usual, a 16gb internal memory to house your files. All at a very cheap price.

Android One Framework
Infinix hot 2 is built in Android One framework. Meaning that any Android updates or fixes will be swiftly available for it since Google will have to handle/deliver it them self not infinix. So there won’t be any delay for updates on this phone. Mind you its the first Android one device in Africa.


BODY
The body is full of beauty, and flat. The looks and curves are very similar to that of Infinix zero and comes in varying colors.


DISPLAY
The large HD screen is 5 inch tall with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution suitable for movies and games.

CAMERA
The camera at 8mp back and 2mp front will offer sharper and clearer images though its nothing compared to Tecno camon c8 with 13MP Camera.


RAM
The device is of two type. One with 1gb ram and the other with 2gb ram. I bet you don’t need my opinion on this cos that of 2gb is better but costlier. So it depends on what you intend doing with it. But as far as am concerned, the 1gb ram still rocks and works fine. If you don’t have the extra box for the 2gb ram, joyfully grab the other.


ROM/Internal Memory
16gb is perfect if you ask me. Since you can’t get anything better at same price. If you’ve got a lot of files to store say movies, games, music’s etc you can support it with an 8gb, 16gb or even 32gb external SDcard.


BATTERY
Compared to the older version infinix hot, the battery is better only by 200milli Amp making it 2200mAh which certainly is still a No No from me. As thats just too poor for a phone with the below specifications. With this battery, you might need to charge your device at list once a day.
