The only issue with this phone that lot's of folks have been complaining about is the pricing.
And some have even sworn by their grandfather's name not to buy Tecno device more than 30K.
All in all, the phone I will say is of high end features, and if it were hTC or LG that made exactly similar phone with that price that, there won't be this general buzz that we are currently witnessing.
Anyway, I am tempted to say, it is because of the standard that Tecno has set for itself as being known as the king pioneer of mid-range devices at low cost.
Now any price more than conventional low price that they are known for, always appear mysterious once it has the name Tecno attached to it.
But all in all, the marketing is what matters the most; if the devices end up selling out fast for them, then good for them, but if it turns out to attract low patronage, then they should reconsider the pricing.

The price is the main critics of Tecno Phantom 5. Because coming from low ends to mid range and finally to high ends has really given Tecno a bad image in the market. I even saw a comment from a guy saying he'd rather go for a brand new laptop instead of spending roughly #70k on this. That's how bad it is.
If you ask me, price reconsideration is never an option.
